Hello Folks – Happy Monday to all of you 🙂 This week is The Veranda Open House!! (YAY!!) You may already know our love for The Veranda (if you haven’t seen our blog post in the “Venues We Love” section, check it out HERE). And, not only do we love them because they’re our neighbors, but I have personally seen the professionalism and heart displayed by the good people who run this venue over and over. They are people I am proud to be friends with. (Also, *Side note* – their in-house catering by Spice of Life is so good, it’s almost worth coming to the open house just for the free food!!) So I *highly* encourage you to find the time to come by, tour the venue and check out the group of their preferred vendors who will be represented there. The open house is this Thursday from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. (See the Facebook Page to RSVP, to find a list of other event professionals included and further details.)

Really quickly before we end, I’ve been blogging a lot of announcements for open houses these past few weeks. And if you are looking for a venue (or anywhere in your wedding planning journey) you have probably noticed that MANY of the venues in San Antonio are having open houses right now. This open house season only lasts about 4-6 weeks and, while having so many options feel overwhelming, this can be a wonderful season for you to take advantage of! Please don’t feel stressed about visiting all of them – that’s an unnecessary (and probably impossible) goal. But to take advantage of venues offering you the opportunity to tour their facility AND meet their preferred vendors (in-person, all in one place, at absolutely no cost to you), is a very ideal situation! You have the opportunity to ask questions, gather ideas, or book people before their schedules fill up 🙂 It should provide a low-pressure time for you and your sweetie to walk around and soak in ideas for your wedding.
